Basket Button 1834-1843

I feel kind of funny posting this after seeing Lonewolfs gold $5 indian head, but I thought it was kind of nice. It is a Benedict & Burnham backmark (1834-1843) guilt button with a basket with a plant in it. Hey Lonewolf, I'll trade for your coin. This button is 70 years older.....Lance

Probably off of a ladies coat, jacket or dress. Was probably from a pretty well to do lady since these types of buttons were not cheap.. Thank you for the question...Lance
