HEHE! Ya gotta get out in the water more Terry - too much time on ya hands! Nice video.

I only silicone my seal after every 4-5 battery changes. Average hunt time on a full 8 copper tops is roughly 30 hours. I've never completely drained a set. I've also never used generic batteries. I'm a glutton for punishment and enjoy paying full price for the name brands.

what you talked about happened to a guy @ the beach other day the battery's leaked all in his machine, he didnt have it out for along time.

Nice video Terry. I agree with everything except the part about applying silicone to the lower shaft washers as this will collect more sand, but if your washing it off after every use it makes no difference.

Thanks for taking the time and effort in giving us Salt Beach wannabees a well needed lesson on the finer points of maintenance for the Sand Shark.

I own the Tiger Shark so my main time is spent in fresh water environments. But the information you post is priceless for when I do get to a salt beach.
