My wife says a friend of hers took this from a Catholic Church back in the 80's.

My questions are:

1. Could this be as old as the date on the bottom of the front says (1830), or is it some kind of replica?

2. Is it silver? I can't find a silver stamp anywhere on it, so I assume if there's any silver at all it's only plated.

Awesome.

Thanks for finding this for me.

I didn't even know where to start with it.

The one I got that's similar to yours is plated.
1832 was the earliest date they were made.
1830 was a Vision date.
