Since you're from MI. I'm guessing Tigers.

I see Andy Dirks #12. If it's a major league ball that narrows it down to '11, '12, '13 as his career was short.

Anibal Sanchez (top) He played in Detroit at the same time as Dirks and his number was 19.

The ball is MLB and indeed found in the Detroit area, thanks for the info so far and I'll see if I can decipher the commissioners name

If it was a MLB baseball of that era it would have an official stamp such as this, with Bud Selig's signature.
Information like that would be very helpful , if we only knew where to find it.

Am guessing not all that valuable but nice find nonetheless.

I haven't been into baseball since the Tigers were on fire in 84, went downhill quick and I couldn't name a current player to save my life.

“I’ve got a buddy who’s an expert. Let me give him a call.”
