Base Ball Medal...19th Century?

I posted this awhile back,after seeing this Baseball History: 19th Century Baseball: The Field: Evolution of the Bases and Foul Lines 'didn't know that' I'm more confident it is.

1.750 high 1.3125 wide.

Any serious ball whackers out there?

Can't 100% say 19th C, but it is certainly turn of the 20th style.


This is not a sports medal but you can see the style from 1900.

I think there are markings on the back.
Super enlarge the image, get a magnifying glass and look at the middle of the left side... See anything in a box there?

Well Matt, I concede that my eyes were likely dreaming up stuff (again)... I'm just glad the opinions were kinder than ones my mother in law offers, who's image I think I see in the lower right... But don't there, you don't want to see it.
