Basalt

Hi

I found these (what i assume to be basalt) specimens at the beach in South Africa, there is magnetite and ilminite, rutile and zircon all over the beach.
I am looking for gold so i did see something resembling a piece of gold and i broke the rocks and had another look.
so this is what i found, please can someone tell me what I"m looking at, cause I don't know, it looks like quartz with silver/gold around it.
