Tried a stubble field that we have had all period of history from, but we must have covered it quite well after the last plough, so we need to wait until its ploughed again.

Cru'dad spent 1 hour with me & then had to do things before picking me up 3 hours later & then tried elsewhere...

Broken Medieval purse bar
Blank Silver Sixpence
Very poor 16th Regiment of Foot pewter button
2 scrappies
Small Medieval Belt Mount (Sexfoil)

Star find - 1667 Halfpenny Token from Bishop Stortford :)

Dad had a Medieval Horse Pendant ;D
I had a 17th Century Spur Buckle & Lead Soldier etc...

To be honest the first one used to be but we have hit it hard over the years. The second one is a pretty low priority but we have little choice at this time.

love the soldier

cheers, I was very pleased that he still had his head, being that the plough normally chops them up.

The Horse pendants a Cracker :o very sort after with that amount of enamaling :o the seasons underway now, lets see just what we can get this year

Cru that token comes from just up the road from me! Do you know what sort of a shop or whatever it was from?

Cool! That's an old town, the shop could still be there :icon_thumleft:

Great hunt with nice variety in finds. Wouldn't the blank sixpence be considered a love token?

Very cool stuff, I would consider anything over 300 years nice, but that's still pretty young in your neck of the woods.
