Nice when you find a spot full of Barbers, there's bound to be more good stuff! As for your dateless dime, it appears to be a 1903. It also looks like there would have been a mintmark. If you could find out with a loupe, it could be an "s", and is valuable, even in that condition!

Thank you for sharing! Fantastic hunt!

Thanks everyone for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed the video.

I will pull out my loupe & see if I can get something off it. I appreciate the heads up.

So I've put something together & you may be right. I will still look closely using my loupe. I took another 1903 s with good detail & placed just the date & mint mark over my coin with incremental opacity level changes. Here is the results.

Nice job. I've been subscribed to your channel for some time now. I don't subscribe to many so thanks for bringing the goods.

Thank you sir, I appreciate it!

killer day!, your no date looks 1903 to me, but I think they already IDd it!, hows that etrac treating you, im 95% sure im stepping up from the atpro to an etrac this year

I'm convinced! Even in G4 that baby is worth $84, so that's very cool. Relatively low mintage coin, and so many were destroyed in the San Francisco fire of 1906. I found one in ridiculously awesome condition a couple years ago, so I did some research. Again, nice finds

gotta love those barbers, pretty cool

Going to be honest, I was in the same boat you were. I too moved up from the ATP.

I've had the Etrac since December of last year & it rocks pulling silver. I'm not much of a gold person so I can't speak on how it does on gold. Last year I dug 45 silver coins using the ATP. I'm at 22 already this year using the Etrac.

This is the best advice I can give you, when learning to use the Etrac make sure your ATP is not easily available or you will switch back to it when you get frustrated learning the Etrac. The Etrac is a totally different machine & you will have some frustrations learning it, my buddy is who I bought the Etrac from. He gave up because it was too easy to pull out his ATP when he got frustrated with the Etrac. I didn't have that luxury since I sold my ATP to upgrade to the Etrac so I was forced to learn it.

Hope this helps, thanks!

I love my ATPro, but would like to get another machine too. Since you have experience on both the Pro and the Etrac, which do you prefer as an overall detector?
