Here are some pics after a cleaning. They come out very tarnished out of this field.

Almost looked better dirty. :P Looks like a sweet find though. Beats my nickles and dimes.

my first silver coin was a Canadian quarter, way down here in Arkansas. I bet that thing sounded real good like it looks

Yeah, it was a bangin' signal. I was out for two hours with two old no date Wheaties to my name when this sounded off.

This is my fourth silver half out of this field, counting a Kennedy 40%er I found last year.

Pickings are getting slim, but finds like this are going to make me scour the place all over again.

Beautiful...

How deep was she? Crazy no one dug that thing yet! I'm to lazy to look, but sterling Canadian coins ended sometime in that era.

A nice Compliment to my Canadian 50% dollar I pulled out in anacortes. Yours is better :p

This was 10" deep and came out of the corner of the hole. Probably on an angle, I have found a few coins like that.

This coin ended the series, had the largest number minted, but I will take it.

I have found a few Canadian coins of late, I just put it in a sleeve next to the 1928 nickel I found a few weeks ago.

It was fun researching this coin, Canada has an interesting history in numismatics. The 1903 coin in this series was minted in England!

Thanks for the replies! Back to the field...

This one is 92.5% silver, 7.5% copper. I saw the pic of your dollar, and it is way cool. I dunno which one I would rather find, I have only found 1 silver dollar....

Killer BIG silver. Congrats.

Thanks, Carolina Tom.

I was about to throw in the towel for this site, been hammering it for a year.

I was just going after weak/marginal signals when this one blasted through the headphones...
