Hey everyone,

I hope you all are getting to good “self-isolation” time in. [emoji6] In all seriousness though, do take care of yourselves out there.

I got out yesterday for about an hour with a friend and it was miserable. 37 and dumping sideways rain the whole time. We barely lasted an hour and called it quits.

I got out with some friends today to try a new spot to me. Thankfully today turned out much better. For starters, the weather was nicer. Still cold but no rain.

I had a slow start to the morning, almost nothing to show for the first couple hours and then finally my luck started to turn around.

All in all I ended the day with 5 silver coins! Way more than I could have hoped. I think we hunted over 6 hours on the beach which is no joke on our cobbly beaches here in the Pacific Northwest.

-1 Merc (dateless)

Other notable coins included:
-1902 V Nickel
-Dateless Buff
-2 Indian Head Pennies (1908 and dateless)
-5 Wheaties

Thank you for looking and good luck out there all!!

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!! Tore it up:)

Nice haul.
Any idea what the two odd shaped "coins" are?
(Left of the Merc and bottom right with the quarters)

Very nice, congratulations!

Congrats W on some great finds! Too cold here yet to detect...

I've dug coins along rocky beaches in Maine - got my first Barber Quarter in the rocks and sand - beat up but I'll take it.
In any condition - any Silver coin is still a great find !

Thank you Randy! Got lucky that a spot ended up turning out like you dream it will!

Hmm, well funny enough, there are no quarters in the pictures! The two crustiest coins are a couple well worn Indian Head Pennies. One of them is barely identifiable.

Very nice, congratulations!

Thanks so much! It's one of those days we all dream of!

Excellent.
Congratulations

Thank you kindly!!

A great bunch of finds - well done !

Thank you! I'm still exhausted one day later haha.

Thank you! I hope it clears up for you soon!!

Right? The beach coins here get trashed in the saltwater but they all count toward those year end tallies! My one and only Seated coin is a hammered half from the beach. Certainly beats having none though!

LOL. ( I forgot the images aren't necessarily to scale.)
A) 3rd image from the top on the bottom left. (with the Barber dimes)
B)4th image from the top on the bottom right. (Next to one of the crusty Indian head cents)

This should hopefully explain it all! :)
