I see you are in the Queen City, like me. What are the rules (laws) behind detecting in Cincinnati area parks?

I ask because I am a total newbie, but want to MD every field and park I see now (But DON'T want to get arrested for doing so...)!!!

Am I missing a post some where our Ohio or local ordinances pertaining to metal detecting?

Let me know!

Hello,

You are allowed to hunt Hamilton County and the city parks with a permit. I get my permits at Woodland Mound Park and they last a year. I would like to note that I did get booted from a Hamilton county park about a month ago, the name is Johnson Hills in anderson township. I did manage to sniff out a large cent and a key date 1870 IH there. :tongue3:
