Been hitting some nice old ground when I can, BUT finding just the time.... to detect seems to be the tuff thing lately!! :angry4:
Well even though the hours are few, been very happy with the goodies I have found.

The pocket watch is my fav. If only because most of the pocket watches I find are hardly recognizable as such! I am hoping that style stuff between the numbers is gold.

Thanks for looking and hope everybody here has a great 2015!!!

:hello2: Your Indian Head cent is a beauty - Wow! :hello2: I also like your watch - it's much better than the varied bits & pieces I've found so far. :icon_thumright: Andi

Hi there, that IHC still has some nice meat left on it! Although Indian Head cents were minted around the time of the Barber coins, they are not referred as Barber cents, mostly because a guy with the last name of Longacre designed them. I guess it's technically not an Indian either? But Liberty with a headdress. But we all call them Indian Head Cents either way.

What a great assortment of early coins. LOVE all that silver!

Sweet finds finds !

Lots of good stuff there all around, that watch is a nice one, all them silvers and wheats/indians are a nice bunch of finds as well. I know what you mean about finding time to detect, the last 6 weeks of 2014 were chaos and I only got out twice, I'm usually out 2-3 times a week!!

Anyhow, GREAT FINDS!

The IHC is lady liberty with a head dress has nothing to do with barber coins ...

Very nice finds thanks for sharing and congrats on the success.

Some lovely finds there! Thanks for sharing!

And aren't you just plain happy to know there are soooo many just waiting
to be the corrector of typos!? LOL

Great finds! Silver, wheats, IH, and a watch! You got out and were able to dig! Awesome!

Ground is frozen here.

Ahh!! You guys are right! :occasion14:
I stand corrected-A Longacre Cent. Nice going on the correction. Don't know why I always thought that was a Barber design!!

Thanks for all the great comments. Happy detecting for you all this weekend. :sunny:

still very nice finds
