I do not know if this would be classified as a cache, but the Barber coins were found within a twenty square foot area. I found these close to an old fair grounds dating back to the 1890s. The Barber quarter dates 1898. The seven Barber dimes date 1902, (2) 1910, 1911, and (2) 1913. Also found last week was 5 Wheat pennies, an old silver plated spoon, a knife, and a broken glass doorknob. I plan to go back to the fair grounds after it rains and cools off a little.

Nice digs! I tend to think that coin caches are multiple coins found in the same hole or within inches from each other. If you find multiple coins in 1 square yard that might be constitute a "spill".

What do other forumites think?

WTG Dman!!! I'd call it a cache as the proximity is close enough for me... I haven’t found a barber in quite awhile... Maybe tomorrow...

WOW DMAN ! thats some great finds there , would love find all that even if it wasnt in a 20 foot area ! congrats ;)

Wonderful Finds! That's more barbers than I find in a year.
Considering you found them all in such a small area, I think I would hunt, rehunt, and then rehunt that area again. Run your disc. wide open, and dig EVERYthing.
Congrats!
