Tried a new place today. It is currently a baseball field and has been in use since the late 1800s as a ball field. It was used back then by teams from the nearby mills. In about 5 hours of hunting I pulled out a 1910 Barber Half (beautiful shape), 1901-O, 1903 and 1912 Barber dimes and 1920, 1936 and 1941 Mercury dimes. Best silver day ever with 7 total coins and my first Barber Half. 53 total silver for the year.

Damn! That's all I can say. Damn!

Geezuz.........Look at all those barbers. WOW! 7 silvers in one day is a fantastic day. Nice going..............Rich

What an awesome haul! Finding so many silvers in one day is a rare feat especially with so many barbers! Just curious did you wipe the half right after it came out of the ground? Looks like it has a few hairlines. I did that to a beautiful seated dime recently and out a few in it. For some reason thought it was going to be a wheat since it was covered with dirt.

Awesome hunt, silver, sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet silver.:icon_thumright:
