Barbed Wire Late 1800s?

First find with my new metal detector, right in my backyard! I don't really know much about barbed wire and the google searches didn't help much. I did find something that looked similar on ebay. What is it worth?

It has 4 points and each spur is about 6 inches apart.

Coupla bucks, maybe, (and a Tetanus shot) though barbed wire collectors are few & far between. Have you found the patent info yet?

I've only got one piece in my "collection," and it's the 1868 Kelly Thorny Two Strand, as seen in Pip's link:

I don't know. Just thought that it might be old. Maybe not. All I know is that there hasn't been a farm on this land for many, many years.
