Well I got in trouble for going to the thrift store. Ive been spending way too much money when I go them. So the Only one I'm allowed to go to per wife's orders for now is the one where I get all their high-end stuff and discount. Since it was getting stolen they just save it for now on. Yard sales are okay too. But I find myself buying clothes that I probably will never sell, I'll buy a book because I think it's a good deal. And yesterday was brass dolphins that will probably be sitting for months before I do anything with them. So that's ok for now. Need to get the taxes figured out anyways. But breaking the thrift store addiction is gonna hurt! However I did sneak there today and spent $2. A ivory necklace and a 10k gold filled gruen watch that works.

You don't have a buying problem. You have a listing problem. See youtube Raiken Profit. HH

LOL thought you got banned by the store for going in your underwear again!

Don't stop!. just start stashing two bucks here and five bucks there. Take stuff no one uses to the pawn shop and get some buy money or start doing some power selling. Your going to miss all the good finds if you don't go in the thrift stores anymore, keep it under control and say no to something's and believe the better is just around the corner and priced just for you. Great score on the Gruen, looks like a watch they made to market to the servicemen of WW2 / Korean era. I save those for when I'm real low on cash I've got a pawn shop that excepts vintage wrist and pocket watches. Now I have drawers full of vintage time pieces as I've got the on hand cash in the green and mama hasn't needed any from me. The pawn shop guy I deal with would loan me $15 and maybe $20 on that Gruen. It should sell on ebay for 40 to 50 bucks I would think. Talk it over with your wife and tell her you'll manage things better. I hope she'll understand...Keep the ball rolling if you can.

The sign said "No shirt, no shoes, no service". Didn't say a darn thing about pants!

Nice deal, but all those bargain's must be breaking you if you have a problem like palidin20603 say's or maybe your just turning into one of those people that they have a TV show on lol but you do know happy wife means happy life as they say and later in years you will learn if mom ma isn't happy nobody is happy you need to learn that soon Do you know why they say a divorce is so expensive because it is worth it

No offense, but might I suggest college and then a well paying career...

Thinking about it actually. I have an electrician degree but had to stop work as my daughter needs alot of extra care until she starts school. So there maybe a couple corses here next semester esp if my mother in law retires and can watch her part time. She is xtra expensive for daycare.

I just seem to find a lot better deals at yard sales so if I can keep myself out of going to the thrift stores as often as I do and just take the yard sales my profit should be a lot higher. Plus I can use that time for listening instead of going to the stores. sometimes it just gets bored sitting at home with baby all day! The one thrift store does have really good deals like the watch, however the other ones are not really worth it they are just on the way to the other one! I'm not complaining I think I just need to focus my time more on the sales then the stores.

take the kid with you. make your wife happy and bond with the kid. Imagine what she, the wife, feels about being home all day with baby.

Oh my wife is thrilled she wakes up every single morning and says daddy I want to go to the thrift store and look at junk!
