Bank tag ?

Found this while detecting yesterday. I've tried searching on these things but can't find what it came off of. It has some blobs of metal on the back like it was somehow soldered or tack welded to something.

It says Seagoville state bank. I looked up the history on that bank which is interesting... but I am not knowledgeable enough to know what this came off.

I would guess a common item like a promotional key fob. Does the bank still exist? Cool! Sub

The bank went out of business during the Great Depression but evidently reopened in the 50s...renamed / bought out in 1998.

I am really new to this and it looked old. And of course the kids want me to excavate the entire area looking for the "treasure hoard" this fell off 🙄

It looks like it may have been on a tie clip/bar, based on the back

There is a matchbook with the same logo on Fleabay. I'm guessing the item you found is a bit later in the banks history.
