Hi Guys,

I need a little help on these two items. I have found them both in an old port in my town. The item that says 1810, (item on the left) is approximately the size of a nickel. I believe it's made of lead. I think it's a bale seal, but I'm not sure.
The second item is over an inch in diameter, looks to be about the size of a half dollar. I don't know the material, I'm thinking bronze, but not sure. It does not stick to a magnet. I had a hard time reading the lettering, but it says either GI Brown or GL Brown. I can't make anything out on the back. I thought it might be a war time dog tag, but there's no hole on the top to loop it through anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

In this same field I found a very beat up Connecticut Copper so I know there's some old stuff out there.

Thanks

the larger item looks to have the faint relief of a bust on one side and possibly a standing figure on the other (running 2 o'clock/8 o'clock in the picture). I believe it is a counter stamped coin or token

I never even knew those existed. I thought I saw the outline of a bust too. Even though you can't see a lot of detail, that makes me very hopeful. The copper I found there is barely distinguishable too. Between the New England soil and the salt water I'm surprised I can see anything on it. Thank you so much.
