We are slowly starting to see more eagles. I’ve lived here 32 yrs and I’m just a couple of miles from a good size Corps of Engineers reservoir. They were not existent until ten years ago. And then there were just a couple of pairs of mature birds. Now I’m starting to see young birds more plus more mature. Hopefully they are here to stay.

We are blessed to have Bald Eagles around all year long. There's more that come in the Fall, but there are a few residents that we see frequently.

That's a great pic!

That's a great photo!
I live in suburbia and there's an eagle nesting in a large pine tree down the street from me. It appears to be a juvenile bald eagle. I need to see if I can get a photo. I've never heard of eagles nesting this near people before.

Beautiful picture of our natural wildlife in action!

I'd guess it's looking at the fish to position it for minimal resistance during flight. I watched an Osprey do this a few days ago at a local lake.
