LOL.....

And I was of pretty much most of THIS week......SUNNY with no detector!

My designated "1st hunt spot" is literally 5 minutes from my house.
I can hit it between the sprinkles.

Those weather forecasters tend to err on the rainy, windy, stormy side. I don't believe in looking at those weekly forecasts. The weather is always better than what they predict. Best way to predict the weather: Stick your head out the window. :icon_jokercolor:

This is true. I was dodging raindrops yesterday. Sprinkled on the way to the site...wasn't raining there when I arrived...got in 2 hours and started sprinkling....left....got home...no rain.... a couple hours later....then the sky opened up and poured.
Not raining right this min but it's awful ugly out. I can wait it out.

Yep We Can't win.

Get a nice day Something Unavoidable Comes up

I got out last night which was the only day we were not going to have rain this week (I'm in Ohio so our forecast looks a lot like yours). I just had to try out my new pinpointer so I got out for about two hours while the wife and kids went shopping. The wife wasn't really too happy about it but she understands that you have to take advantage of whatever opportunity you get when you live in Ohio during the Spring.

Good luck. I hope you get a break in the weather.

Double bag it with plastic bags. I've done that numerous times, but you probably wouldn't want to do that with a new detector. Besides when it rains it gets muddy and mud sticks to detectors very well.

Ahhh...Weather forecasters. One of the only professions where you only have to be right about 50% of the time and you get to keep your job.

The manufacturers really need to make all machines waterproof. A MD'er should be out in any weather.
