Since I had already picked up coins from two of the three typical Tuesday banks before Tuesday, I only stopped by one today.

I only picked up 1 - $200 bag of nickels

The bag was pretty decent:
1 - 1943-P War Nickel
1 - 1943-S War Nickel
59 other pre-1960 Jefferson (1939(2), 1940(2), 1940-D, 1940-S(3), 1941(3), 1941-D(2), 1946(3), 1946-D, 1947-D, 1947-S, 1948(2), 1950, 1951, 1952, 1952-D, 1952-S, 1954-D(6), 1955-D(4), 1956, 1956-D(4), 1957-D(3), 1958-D(7), 1959, 1959-D(6))

10 Canadian (1973, 1977, 1985(2), 1986(2), 1999(3), 2002-P)

3 Foreign (Mexico, 50 Centavos (2006), Mexico, 1 Peso (1993), Switzerland, 20 Rappen (1966))

5 Quarters
1 extremely flattened penny

2 Namco arcade tokens

and the tip of a serated knife blade.

Nice finds, as usual.

But damn, doesn't brinks or whomever the banks get their money from sort this stuff at all...a tip of a knife...at least you didn't get cut....

I pick up bags directly off the coin machine at the bank. There are no armored services involved. I am essentially the first person to sort out what's in the bag, so I get a few oddball items that most people don't get.

I guess getting that kind of mix would make it more interesting. Beats a skunk box of halves.

Ohh..well in that case...watch yourself...don't get cut...but thats probably why you get more great finds than a lot of others...n others going through them...
