I can still admire armoury

Having said all that I have,

I meant to question, How do they programme the 'shells' to explode at the required distance?
Do you change your ammo somehow, depending on how close the target area is?
Do I need to look at the vid again? :tongue3: :glasses11:

I don't know-----Probably a well kept secret.

Nope no secret, the rounds are electronically exploded, each 20mm round has at it's core a programable chip that is electronically integrated to fire within a proximal distance past the laser measurement. So if the laser says the wall of the building is at 100 yds then the chip in that round will know the distance traveled based on time in air and will detonate within .03 second placing it within the kill zone or approximately three to five feet beyond the wall

I think it has to do with the "Smart bullets" which means bullets that can be programmed?
Look here I'm to lazy to read it myself:

I think metal storm is more interesting:

The principal is quite interesting and seemingly effective. :tongue3:

I think I saw those on Modern Marvels.
They have like a mirco second timer calibrated to the speed the shell travels and the distance to the target.
Very Amazing.:o

Meh! It takes all the fun and skill out of running up and clubbing them to death with your empty rifle! Gonna be very hard to get medals in the future.
