Nothin much to write home about but i need the practice posting pics so i figured i would post some backyard finds. any clue as to figure out the age of this horse shoe any any ideas what the wheel looking thing is or any of this other stuff for that matter. thanks and hopefully something cool to post soon.

Hmmm, the round thing looks like the pulley on an old clothes line...see this pic for an idea of what I mean...

oval with bolt looks like a clamp to hook up ground wire from home to metal stake.

The pully looks like it's from a small gasoline engine. Where you wind the starting rope and pull starting it.

The oblong ring with a bolt looks like a grounding wire lug.

that thing in the upper middle is a wing nut I think...

If the wheel looking thing isn't off a lawn mover it has to be a pulley for a belt of some kind. I think I see a keyway slot on one side but can't be sure. The old Yazoo mowers had a shaft right over the front deck that was run by a belt that spun the cutting blade. Monty

Did you find this in the back yard where you have found other car parts and I found the lead mason jar lid? OR was it in the front? The pulley may be one more piece of the automobile you have been digging out of the ground one piece at a time. The one item is a lug for grounding, proably from the old shed that was on the back of your lot, if that is where you found it. The others have all done a fantastic job of iding everything else.

Did you ever get the axe head cleaned up anymore
