Backroads Finds!

While going to my sisters house.. I decided to take the back way/roads in..Im talkin the were you haul your own water country..well i drive real slow hoping to see wildlife! While i was driving i was staring along the hill banks on both sides of the road..As i was driving.. I noticed a triangle shaped object what i thought was a leaf turned out to be a Point!! Boy was i :headbang: ..Below is pics of all the Flint i found in this one area...Ohh i also seen a Turkey :tongue3:

I need some help on the bigger point/? ..was this getting ready to be a Arrow? Or do i have a complete spear/?..

Forget wildlife there Eagle Eye. Was that road cut or a do you think maybe and ancient trail later traveled by current inhabitants? Lots of fine material there looks to be a camp and water near by.
Very cool. I think the last may have been a knife blade and maybe later on was to be worked into a point but they never got to it. Still a nice blade. Its crazy they could see something in that stone and knew it was hopeless and maybe chunked it or just used it as a expediant expendable tool if materials were close.
Nice hunt sir and glad you were on high ground when the rains came !!

Thanks for looking! Yes the road was cut..Not a very wide road at all ''with little banks coming down from both sides..I was also looking for flint ;D ..I didnt notice many flint pieces along the way,Just this one area..And yes i looked and there was a creek ! not a wide creek but more like a spring fed creek..Im in the works of finding out who owns this land..My sister knows everyone so that helps..This would be the first time finding flint without anyones help! I am hooked :icon_sunny:... I do have to say one thing you do know your Hobby..With little that i said you pictured it/the spot just right :thumbsup:
