I skipped my metal detecting meeting this evening so I could dig what I thought was a privy site in my backyard Well 3ft sq by 5 1/2 deep nothing at all I did strike water lol. I guess you don't know unless you try. I detected for a bit and got this small buckle and a token. It says R.F.A & company 1 C. And I dug up 64 more bricks I think that makes 115 bricks. And here's my ax's from my yard

It looks like your yard has great potential. What's the history of your property?
 

Just got it two weeks ago. The house was built in 1900 but its down town in a town from 1680s but before was a trading post. I'm about 150 yrds away from the river. Only have .3 acres but hopefully hiding some good stuff.
