I've been the last four days back at my old lake where my water hunting took root. First two days I was using my Excalibur II, and found three Merc's. Last couple days I've been using my XP Deus. I found some wheats and a Rosie. So nice being back in the water. I love the scenery and love being in the water.
Enjoy the pix

Congrats on your silver dimes - clad & other treasures and one fantastic water hunt. Thanks for sharing your pictures and story with all of us. I wish you many more great finds while out metal detecting in the water.

You've been a busy man, fishing, going to concerts, making striper cakes and now water detecting. Congrats on pulling those keepers Brad.

Thanks Steve, I'm headed out this afternoon with my son to try and catch drum fish. Never a spare minute (if there is it's nap time!)

Thanks buddy, good times, my favorite being in the water.

Nicely done,, are you wading with the DEUS or did you get the antenna?
Congrats
I got the kit, which includes a bag for the control box that has a plug inside that plugs into the control box then the wire comes outside the bag so a set of ear buds that came with the kit plugs into that. the bag has a Velcro strap so the box is on my forearm. I tie the antenna to that and have a small piece of noodle so detector floats upright to allow me two hands to scoop. I'll attach a pic in a second.

Sweet!!! Let the finds begin!
Awesome silver! Congrats!

What differences do you notice between the excal & Deus in the water? Just curious.

The Excalibur is built for water, any water.
The Deus is in my opinion still a land machine, I had heard they were coming out with some new double d coil or something.
The Excalibur has the multi frequency technology that just kicks ass in the water.
Deus needs to work on a waterproof case, it's only a matter of time I get a leak. I like hunting with the Deus using its versatility to clean up the scraps

The start to another Awesome season!! It's dimes for now but, sure it won't be long before the big silvers start rolling in.

Great finds!! Question for you..... What method do you use to clean the silver coins you find in the water?

Congrats and HH

DANG THERE TREBLE , NICE BUNCH OF FINDS .

Great hunt Brad! I just got the underwater kit this week, but haven't set it up yet. Great idea with the noodle piece to float it. Does the antenna wire get annoying going to your forearm? I think I'll use it most with just the coil and lower rod submerged, so the antenna will go to the remote... but I do plan on using it fully submerged too.

Nice collection of finds. I too enjoy the water, especially when the summertime heat starts baking your brain!

Nice I just got some waders and a sand scoop want to try a beach near my house and an old beach on the river. Not many metal deterists around here in A2 Good job!!!!!!!!!!!!1
