Good afternoon friends Ive been out of touch for a while so i thought Id post a few finds. They are vintage pen and stand the nib is 14k only spent a buck on it. A pair of vintage aluminum cats eye glasses 5 bucks for them. Thanks for looking and its good to be back.

Cool glasses. That pen looks like a Conklin. Is it marked?

Those glasses remind me of the ones my mother in law had in her yard sale. She said they were her sisters, I thought they were cool so I took them home and put them in my hutch. I found out they belonged to the sister that was hit and killed by a drunk driver while standing on the side of the road. I just hope she wasn't wearing them when she was hit. That would creep me out. I am afraid to ask about it. Probably better not to know.

I love those old fountain pens. The ones with the 14k nibs are a bonus!

Sadly, there is a large divide in value between as-is (typically not working) and fully restored.

I sold one for parts and did very poorly. On the other hand the ones that are restored can fetch hundreds of dollars.

Dig, I cheked the pen I was hoping for a Mont Blanc but it was made by Montgomery ward. Bummer oh well I still think it was great score for a buck.
