Hello Forum,

I found a couple of unique items. I’m not sure what the cylindrical thing is. Does anyone recognize this? At first I thought it was a garden hose nozzle. Now I’m thinking gun part? Maybe it’s a trumpet mouth piece.

Thanks for looking.

I don't know about gun part. It looks more like a trumpet mouthpiece or sextant eyepiece, though not an exact match to either one that I can find.

I think you were correct with the hose nozzle guess, if so it missing the hose attachment end and the internal bit that control the water flow/pattern, all of this would of attached using the 2 holes in some fashion.
Here a complete one that is almost but not quite an exact match.

Maybe it came apart. Maybe this is simply part of it.

You did great :)

Nice finds, I don't believe it's a Trumpet mouthpiece. My guess is part of a hose nozzle that is missing a piece.

Cool riker cap. They made some nice bottles too. I have a milk glass jar with most of paper label for Riker's violet cerate. Don't think your cap went to the one I dug though as mine would have had a milk glass lid.

Hello RatherBeDigging, Its not a cap. It appears to be a container. Maybe a sample container. Like a mini compact. I was hoping that there was a coin, or a ring inside. It comes apart in two pieces.

Ohhh that's neat and different!
