I had about an hour long window to hunt this morning so I went back to the washout I found the Dalton / Quad point earlier this week. The rain from the recent tornadic storms created some deeper troughs and newly eroded areas. I walked into the same area and found another point very similar to my earlier find. About 15 minutes later I found the other early point sticking out of the bank about 2.5 ' down from the surface. I'm not exactly sure of type, it has heavy grinding around the base and up to the resharpening, and some transverse parallel flaking. Any opinions on type would be appreciated. HH

Ps I posted the piece I found earlier to show the similarities between the two.

Those wash-outs are really paying off for you, Th3rty7. :o
I wish we would get some of those heavy rains here in Oklahoma(without the tornados!).

Those are very nice! You can really see the flaking on the second from the bottom. Wonder where the guy who made it was when he made it. What time of year?

Appreciate the comments and responses folks. Peachy , thanks for the I.d. help, Guilford Yuma is a good guess and similar form. I think the heavy grinding in the hafted area, flaking and thin profile are a bit older, possibly a resharpened lance. I was thinking early archaic on the other? JMO

Man killer post!

That lil Dalton and lance are sweeties!
