Today I went back to the "virgin" park I posted about a couple weeks ago that produced almost $15 in clad... I had left there just hitting the tot lots, and still have not hit the soccer field yet.. I hadnt but slightly touched one of the two volley ball courts, so I hit them first... Man, the jewelry was thick!
After 2 hours, my back was aching, so I called it a day.. Ended up with $4.73 in clad and the jewelry.. The one partial bracelet I found looked to be gold plated, with small diamonds in it, and is stamped .925, so it must have been gold plated silver. The ankle bracelet also is marked 925 and isnt broken. I have no idea how they lost it... My wife was happy to get that one, it is really cute and "delicate" looking... Fits her perfectly.
The religious medallion might be gold plated, but it is not marked.. The other stuff, including a HUGE fake diamond, is just costume jewelry, but hey, jewelry is jewelry, right??
It was beautiful out there today, no wind, bright blue sky, and about 65 degrees... Going back tomorrow to hit those soccer fields..
