Back to the 'trac - silvers!!

Had a month-long affair with the deus recently just because the etrac was killing my elbow. I did fairly well with the deus in the places i usually hunt (parks), but the bottle caps were killing me. Good news is that the weight allowed my elbow inflammation to calm down. I attached the 6x8 sef coil to the 'trac to keep the weight down a little, and headed to my old standby park. 30 minutes in i got that familiar flutey 12-45 6" down and pulled a merc in really good shape. A few minutes later a shallow 12-12 yielded an OD nickel.

The deus will definitely come in handy on the few permissions i have that are littered with iron. but for parks i'll probably stick to the 'trac.

Good call. That park is littered with bottlecaps. I wish I had a park littered with bottlecaps AND silver

I have been favoring the DEUS lately but I do love my E- Trac.
Very nice hunt,, congrats on the silvers.
 

Good day of hunting. Some really nice finds. That wheatie looks like it's in really nice condition.
 

I just went to El Pollo Loco and I got a Merc in my change! When does that happen anymore? Im going to be careful driving home :)
