My hunting time is quite limited right now as I am getting my house ready for sale. I cannot go off hunting cold turkey though so I walked down the hill again and hit the old shoe factory area for the fourth time ! 1 decent coin per trip seems to be my limit there, an 1890 Indian today. I also fiound a nice old key today to add to my collection ! a 1914 wheatie, A cufflink , The top hat charm I thought was a monoppoly piece till I saw the hole in it ! no I can't go cold turkey ! I was supposed to be painting the house ! I don't know if it is a blessing or a curse to have a decent site within a 3 min walk from my house. I do know it is a major distraction ! I was down there about 2 hours and now I have to make up for lost time Painting !! MaineRelic

Nice finds, I'm still waiting to find an indian. I know what you mean about locations calling to ya and so hard to resist. I've been hittin a place close to Dysart's truck stop pretty regular and seem to find enough to keep calling me back. Also talked to a lady that was walking there and she told me it was a popular swimmin hole and that one of the fields was once a ballfield. She told me she used to detect and after watching me pull 97 coins (81 pennies) out of a 2 ft circle, she said she was going home to look for a detector on ebay. Have fun painting.
