back to the park. silver!! diamond??

with the warm weather we had in new jersey yesterday I went out to the park I have been hitting lately. i was finding a lot of clad and pulltops then got a good high silver hit on my ace 250. it was my first silver ring .it says sterling on the inside of the ring..after about an hour of more clad i get a pulltop hit but after reading on here about gold showing up as pulltops dug it anyway.i dug down about three inches and out popped a big "what i think is "a diamond .it looks like it must have been part of a ring at some point.on the bottom of the setting shows some damage . i did some home testing( breath test ) and it looks good.gonna take it to someone to be tested.i hope its real because it's every bit over 1 carat. thanks for looking. ~matt~

Yep, just like when we find a ring with a missing stone. There are stones out there with missing rings.

Don't fret a picture, I remember what a diamond looks like. My memory is "quite" that gone yet. LOL

gonna take sometime this week to get checked. the setting is very well done ,stone is set with extra prongs and and white gold so I'm hoping its a good sign.lol.. we will see.. thanks for all the feedback love this site. hh. ~matt~
