Went back to a park i hunt every so often.
Found a clad quarter, right off the bat.But i wanted to get back in the brush and woods where its too overgrown in the summer.
Got a nickle signal and dug.Wow,a V nickel,1901.I had found one here before,if i remember it was a 1905.
was getting ready to go a couple hours later, got another nickel signal.
Another V nickel,very thin,a 1896,Cool.
Made my day,I'll be going back.It blows my mind that i an't find an indian head penny here yet.
Not even a buffalo.Everything old has been v nickels.
Still fun,I'll take em!

seems like theres old stuff there you just gotta take it as it comes :icon_thumleft: congrats on the V's

Maybe the reason for no Indians is because people are skipping the nickel signals thinking they are going to be pull tabs. I hope you find some other old coins there as well.

Really nice v-nickels. I don't believe they made v-nickels in 1806.
