...yep, you guessed it...more musketballs. I made a rookie mistake and went to the site with nearly dead batteries and no wallet so I only spent an hour there. That's 30 musketballs in total from a very small area. Still looking for the site.

Low batteries is one thing.... but staying in the same spot and just digging those stupid balls! Don't be an iron scardy cat and cover some ground and find that site!

I did spread out but when i realized that my batteries were nearly dead i went to the area with guaranteed targets...plus I still really enjoy digging these things!!!

That's what I think...a dropped pouch. You raise an interesting point about the mold. That would be cool! I am close to a site but it definitely is not where these balls were found. I'm heading back out tomorrow afternoon to begin again...with fresh batteries!
