Golly gee, that lug from that CCC tractor was deep!

Four mem cents lost by skinnny dipping hippies around 1970!

The Clorox bottle dump unplugged!

Ah but witness the power of your humble guide to the lost and forgotten. The barriers fall to the newbie in his foray into the Hinter-tick lands of Barrington. Testify Trash! Pics of the fine wreathed ones and the winged bird, please!

I will try for pictures on Monday. Barber dime and quarter, My first silver.
Etrac paying up on some of the money I spent on it. Thanks Lowbatts great hunt.
D-dub and LowBatts for Aerial photos and gps maps. great prep work on these farmsites .

Again, Awesome job on the Barbers today Trash!

Tim. You certainly have a way with words!

I wish I was out there with you guys, especially to see Trash dig up his first silver. Unfortunately I had to bite the bullet today and spend it with the gf and future mother-on-law.

Congrats on your silver Trash!

How bad was the undergrowth getting there?

Shake it off. Have to keep the woman happy too. ;D

At the "First" hunting site, forget it. Grass has gotten too tall and the undergrowth is terrible. I was able to locate the other buildings on the lot and its even worse. Price is the same way. Where I was pulling out the Wheats and the Merc and Trash got his BD, its still not bad. Directly across the lake where Trash found the BQ its not to bad either.

I'm thinking another run at the lake cabin area might not be a bad idea.

Maybe take some string and tent pegs to mark of a small area at a time? Don't know if anyone has tried that, but it seems like it would definitely help in making sure you hit the entire area.

Nice going Trash!
That's a nice pair of coins to give up your silver virginity to.
Mike

Still gotta define the lost homesites (2) and see what's been left for us. Geo G's spot off the drive-in needs definition too, Dan.

Maybe more than just a couple old mason jar lids and owl pins there.

Don't worry Tim. Not giving up on dos homesites. Just want a last hunt in that section before it gets worse. I think we need to work that field. I wouldn't be suprised if that map isn't almost exact in it's locations.

trashncash 1st silver!

A spectacular find for my first silver. Condition is kind of crappy.
I guess it's a crapptacular find. A little damage on the quarter from recovery.
I guess I will have to call in smaller air strike from the military flyby we saw during the day. :icon_scratch:

Yeahhhh Buddy!
Fixed the shovel, new handle, shorter, solid piece of 1.25" aluminum rod with foam cover. Now I can only wonder how I'll manage to break it. I'll find a way!

Going to Michigan this weekend. I need a new shovel. Pick one up in Plainwell Mi. at the local detector dealer.
Anything is better then that army shovel I have.

Trash n Cash,
Congrats on silver #1 and#2!
