I found that exact same gun several years ago. I was in a remote spot and finding 1850's relics. It started pouring and the lightening was coming. I flipped it out of the hole grabbed it and ran to the car to get out of the weather. I thought for sure I had found an awesome double barrel percussion pistol from the 1850's. then I gently started to clean the dirt off only to see the word, "pirate"... I was crushed...

The kicker is the iron triggers. You could pistol whip someone with this same as the real thing.
 

Nice finds, can't go wrong w a merc! And that gun is a real Heartbreaker!
 

love the coins but the cap gun is really nice too, can imagine the kids playing pirates with it
