That church was the beginning of the snowball of reference letters that piled up in George's folder, sweet site. Wish I could say I found a Chain cent or something of that caliber, I don't care. I found a few interesting finds and seen a couple very nice finds that George found (again with the great detail too) We both feel its going to be tough to eek out finds now there, still possible, just tough. Thank you for another fun hunt George.

I found a great button (any ID would be greatly appreciated) a watch fob, a suspender buckle, and a smashed coin or maybe a button?

The fob has INB with since 1834, the Indiana National Bank of Indianapolis

The button has, Waterbury Button Co. on it with an anchor on the other side.

Enjoy the pix

Pickings are getting slim..
Not easy hunting, thats for sure.
That anchor button is a nice find, and the watch fob..
Not bad for a few hours..

Post up pics of that button once you clean it Brad. I don't see anything bordering the edge in the pic you show, so it might either be a civilian use button or there are a couple British ones too. Hope it's an old one for you.

some nice finds brad, that fob is cool and I like the little buckle thing, looks like you boys put in another good hunt

Going to be a nice button. Love the fob. Keep digging

The thing with Dialon on it reminds me of something they used to use to fix inner tubes with a hole in them.

Looks like a fun day!

Nice find. I love finding watch fobs.

Happy anniversary boys lol. Nice hunt. Show a nice close up of that button when you get it cleaned up bud. I found one similar that turned out to be civilian but a good close up will help confirm an id

Just got home, clean up button pix

I believe what we have here is a smashed two piece. I'm not sure if the pix will show that but look at the little point, it is the front part of the two piece that over laps the back. The loop is gone. I'd have to look, but I know I found a few other smashed buttons at this same site. This site is not the site where they did reenactments, but the public has been visiting this site for 300 plus years. I just got home and now I'm able to post. I was at my paranoid anonymous meeting (well really I was driving for a couple hours looking for it) (they won't tell me where its at!)
