Back to reality...todays hunt

After my 202 coin day with 2 rings, from Wednesday I knew not to expect much...and I did not get that much.. 2hrs, $3.13 in clad, 45 coins.

hey Gregg, not everyday is gonna be a 200 coin day. I think you did pretty well. If you were hunting the parks around here what you dug yesterday would be a good day!

To tell you the truth...>>NO! I could not imagine having another 200 coin day for a while! I was inspired by a forum moderator sending me a newspaper article featuring him and his wife. I needed the motivation to get it done and did. I don't want to hear that many beeps for quite a while!

This will be the first full year I have hunted since the 80's! Back then I used a White's 6000 Di series 3 which I still own also! Not sure if it works...will have to test it out soon. Back then if I had a 60-70 coin day it seemed my batteries would die out! This year I have 2 rechargable battery packs, a lesche digger and a bunch of other assorted goodies! Not sure exactly how many I was finding back then.... But the only way I don't pass 5000 is if my detector breaks! 10000, might need a little more work! My original goals for year were>> 5500 coins and $450 in clad. Obviously the totals will have to be boosted upward...especially the coin total...but I want to pass 5500<my goal first. I think keeping a limit on my hunting helps, I will probably not hunt again till Monday now, helps me avoid burnout!
