Sorry for the delay on getting the picture to you guys. I have been metal detecting today. Didnt find anything to share this time. But i do have questions on other things that i have found in the past. So you think this pendant is too new for the dates that i have figured out for the other items that i discovered at this old home site?

Thanks. I found this at a site that i have dated back to the early to mid 1800's. But i would like to find out if this also dates to that period

I would say mid to late 1800's. I know that the earlier spanish colonial medals have a sideways loop or are flat holed.

i did not find these medals but I was offered a collection like this while I was in Gdl Mexico back in the 1990's. Havent seen to many religous medals from near your area. I would say that the ones in the photo date to the 18th and early 19th century. 2013-06-29 09.42.43.jpg

Well the latest thing i found at this house site was a Indian Head penny in BEAUTIFUL condition and it dated 1862.

I sure do hooe so. Lol! I will say it does anyways! I do know that i found all kinds of round ball all around the house so there must have been a skirmish with indians or something. There was a indian camp about a 100 yards away. So i am wondering if the attack took down the stronhold of the house. Because where everything was so disarray.

Well i am a engineer for natural gas pipeline so i travel. I am currently in Ohio. But this buckle/ sash was found in my home state of Virginia.

I mean pendant.

awesome. lots of history in that state. I was stationed at ft. lee for about a year.
