I went back to what is becoming my favorite old road again today. This part starts at the end of a subdivision then disappears under a new road.
Along this road this week I found a 1726 Spanish Reale and a 1770's British Half Penny. Prior to that I got 1843 Nova Scotia Half Penny and my son a Banque du Peuple Bouquet Sou (1837-1838)
Here are my finds today:
The first coin I found is a toasted halfpenny sized coin that I can just make out a harp and some script. I am quite sure it is a 1792 Irish Halfpenny token like this:
I followed that up with some buttons, the writing on which I cannot make out, some lead shot and another Nova Scotia Halfpenny. I can't make out the date but from the shadow of the bust it is either 1823, 1824 or 1832
Lots more signals that I didn't have time for today. This section of road takes maybe 5 minutes to walk from one end to another. I'll be back
