HEY GUYS AND GALS
Out for a run to some new fields that we got permission for. Had eyed these fields for quite awhile....always thought they would be great places to hunt.
Boy was I disappointed...nothing but shotgun shells. Shoulda been great spot...blaaaaa.
So instead of going home empty handed we decided to hit the salt shore to see if we got get lucky with a biutton.
We had put the CZ 21 and SandShark in the back of the truck before we left home this morning , just in case we decided to do just that....very happy that we did.
I was only there about 10 minutes when I got a nice loud hit , it was very close to a rock and there is a lot of hot rocks here.
But the signal was just barely before the edge of the rock...grabbed my shovel and looked down again and right there on the surface was the button face up clear as could be staring right at me the 66....didn,t even have to dig it !!!
Then 10 mins later Cousin ED hit a nice button but think is a blank..has the shank still intact...rare for pewters on this site.
Got ready to go and ED hit another button....but not sure about this one... is corroded for sure ...but appears to have a start pattern on it ??
Any help on the ID of these buttons would be appreciated.
Eds buttons are the first 2 pictures.
