Great find....no clue on the age...
Wouldn't it be great to have a forum dedicated to magnet fishing?

That's pretty cool how that works I always thought about getting two cars and putting a metal net in the beach with long cables and slowly pull it so the sand can go through it but you catch all the rings coins ect. sorry had to throw that in there Cool find thanks for the post I love seeing finds from that magnet gotta try it!!!

Coins, rings, cars...Jimmy Hoffa with his cement booties...lol...A2 u crack me up! I needed that, ddf..

Seriousl how about a giant shop vac you would need a really long hose a screen in the tank area with a hole in the bottom of the vacume can for the sand to fall through but the screen would catch the rings and coins unless you got caught first and thrown into the booby hatch it would be a race

I just wish they had a magnet for lead and brass! Haha

My son told me yesterday that he is going to invent a magnet for coins when he grows up because his metal detector is too heavy...
Nice oar lock BTW.

CAJUN HANDCUFF? NAH NICE OAR REST .

Nice find! I just made a new mount for one of my magnets, I'm hoping it will help with pulling relics out of the sticky bayou mud around here....

I know. I watch these videos of these guys walking in these crystal clear streams with rock bottoms and here in south Louisiana it's nothing but pure mud. Can you say MESSY!
