Hi all.? Finally getting some time to get back out there with the MD.? Did a 6 hour hunt today and it felt great!? Hit an old school and rolled up the usual smorgasbord.? Broke the 1900 barrier with an 1896 Indian, an interesting boot plate, a couple of silver rings, a sterling silver ear ring, a couple of tootsie toys, a copper and lead 2-hole button, part of a crucifix, a jolly roger pin, $10.39 in clad and a bunch of whatzits.? Could use some input on the heel-plate.? It's brass and very heavy.? Does anyone know of a web site for ID purposes?? Thanks up front.? Wow, CO2.? That's a nice hunt.? Congratulations on the indian and everything else.? The heel plate is really unusual.? I've never seen one like it.? Maybe someone on here can help you out on that one.
