It took me almost 2 days to rest up from just one attempt at a "water hunt". LOL :)

It's ok, but, I think I'll just leave it to the youngins. ;)

I went back out today, just to get a hunt fix. Went to a local school. (clad territory) But, I tell ya, I felt like I was back in my element again. :)

Still not too much found but, it was the kind of fun finds that keep me coming back.

Dunno. Nonmagnetic, maybe aluminum?

My largest & heaviest zipper pull I've found. Kinda neat.

Poor ole Abe. Shame what they did to his coin, such a worthless metal!

Almost like I was being welcomed back to my element, this one turned up.

That's either a diamond chip in the center or a tiny CZ. The ring is marked .925 though. :)
We all know how rare it is to find any ring, so I'm thinking this one was a special welcome back. :)

MY ride never showed up so I hitched one on this. ;)

nice finds! digging th ring! I think the aluminumthing is the tip to a laser poiner.

Welcome back to dry land. Water hunts are a lot harder than they look.
Nice finds hope its diamond!!

Good work, nice finds. HH

Whadifind, that's funny. When I bought all my stuff last spring, I bought everything I would need for land, and water hunting. One day while beach hunting, I watched two guys out in the water. They looked like thy knew what they were doing, but they were working harder than I wanted to!!! Still haven't been in the water, but enjoy beach hunting. Oh yea, as usual..............nice finds

Thanks!

Yeah, I already knew how tough water hunting can be. I did that a LOT way back when I first got into this.
Trying to keep one's balance, pinpoint, dig when every time you pushed down you floated up. Trying to stay in the same spot, sift out the scoop to see what you got, getting it out of that damnable clay level if you got that deep. The waves, the jellyfish, the weather, etc, etc, etc. LOL

I did ALL that before and pretty well! BUT! That was over 30 years ago! I forgot that part. I don't have the body to do all that fighting nowadays. :dontknow:

Back then I was selling everything I found. I had to, but it was breaking my heart. Part of the reason I gave all hunting up for almost a quarter century. If I couldn't keep what I found, make a collection, I didn't want to find anymore. Besides, I absolutely LOVE seeing a nice silver coin come to light in the dirt. The water just plain ruined them! Hated finding an old silver coin in the water.

I think I'll just let water hunting go by, for now. ;)

Thanks again!
