My wife and I went back to the settlement permission today. Here are some of out finds. If anyone knows what the pointed dagger looking thing is let me know. I will post it on the "What is it" thread also. We found a couple of buckels and other iron. Finally found a coin on the property but it is ma modern clad Dime, hmmmmmm. Oh we found a Car! Really!! An Oldsmobile 88, I think it is a 1960 model. The plates expired in 1969. It was in the middle of the woods... Weird. Thanks for looking.

LOL, well there is almost 600 acress to move around on so I sure the heck am not toting all this stuff around by foot. My Wife was driving most the day! LOL And if you try to drag that car out it will turn to dust. So very bad shape it is in. Thanks for looking.

DAGGER THING - I THINK IS OFF A FIELD IMPLEMENT TO GRATE THE SOIL - IVE FOUND SOME IN THE PAST

Interesting relic hunt
Spooky looking car

That pointed dagger looking piece is called a rock guard, it goes on the underside of a sickle bar mower for mowing hay, also old pull type combines had them on too basically the bar is made up of knives that slide back and forth and that piece is the other half of the scissors so to speak.IMG_1398.JPG

Fantastic Photo Proof! Thanks so much!!! I will share this photo to other posts. Giving you credit of coarse!

Today I went back to the old Oldsmobile in the woods and searched it for coins or any other valuables. I searched what was left of the seats and cusions, under the seats, floor boards front and back, all three ash trays and the glove box. Not a coin to be found. Just some old cigarette butts, a washer and a unlit match from a book. I think it had been searched before it was placed there.
