It’s a crown, but not the one you were hoping for! I went to the farm where I had found the starter home from the 1700s.
I went detecting around the foundation of the 1800-1900s home and found a few brass items. I also found this! After some research it seems to be from “Prince of Wales” 1700s? A rosette of some sort?
It seems to be 1800-1900s, but I’m definitely no expert! Haha
Here’s also a few other finds- brass finial of some sort, a baggage tag and a record (4) oil lamp burners and a couple unknown brass pieces
Thanks for reading!
I also got into bottle digging/hunting and have found some awesome things!
Cheers!

Looks like a fun hunt.

Looks like good place to hunt around. Not sure what that rosette of sorts is coupled to, but does appear to be a crown with ostrich feathers armorial of sorts. https://armorial.library.utoronto.ca/ordinaries/feathers-ostrich-3
Keep looking around. I would think there may be more historical curiosities to uncover. Maybe even something rather valuable?

Thanks! The house was bulldozed I believe. It’s a very difficult spot to hunt but totally worth it! I’ll definitely post more when I head back!
