Wow, after all time that's passed, everything is so new, from all the new toys to the way society looks at this hobby! First detector was a little BFO model back in 63 had to stop from 69-75 and did some in 77-78 long time! Retired now and decided to get back in and came up with a whites QXT and a new Tesoro silver umax. Have to start all over with this new stuff. And the way society has changed! Wow, fences and suspicious of every one and thing!
Anyway I'm back hope I can have as much fun as I did in the old days.
I'm in Kentucky, try state area WV and OH.

Welcome back! I love your screen name! I don't go quite as far back as you but my first machine was a BFO that I bought in 1970. A real POS compared to today's machines. You'll have to work for your silver these days! Not like it was back then when every other coin was silver or a wheat.

Welcome from SoCal, HH !!!!!!!!!!!!

You might consider browsing Sub-Forums: Kentucky for information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome back. I look AT it this way, after i am retired a few years and begin to forget he gas on a regular basis, my wife can throw my finds out tin the back yard and i can find them over and over. Of course i wnt remember finding them the day before so i will get excited about the same find as if it was the first time.

Now I know why I keep digging up all that stuff out back, thinking I had and old TV antenna dump out back.
