Any day digging in the dirt is a good one despite the value of the treasure. Spent the day at a farm site built in 1840. Set the AT PRO at Pro Zero and 22 iron. I dug anything with a good tone. I used my first Garrett Pro-Pointer today. Can't say enough good things about it. Expected to find some older coins here but they didn't want to see the sun today. Over 10 pounds of iron, clad, six toy vehicles and a piece of old pottery and the interesting stuff: old baby buggy/pedal car wheel, brass curtain rod finial?, brass latch/plate, copper pill/snuff case. I have another old farm site to dig tomorrow and really looking forward to another nice day of doing so.
