BAB 925 ???

I found a money clip on the street today (no money in it...) The back is marked BAB 925. Does anyone know what the BAB stands for??

Very possibly B. A. Ballou & Co., Inc. of Providence, RI, a jewelry firm active since 1876. They first used the "B. A. B." mark in 1908.
